The Belfast Free Library, serving the community since 1887, is housed in a historic building with exposed stone walls, now renovated as a modern resource center. The Library offers a wide variety of programs and services for all ages from storytime and puppet shows for the youngest visitors to Apple computers and comfortable places to work or socialize for the teens. Library programs include art exhibits, discussion series, lectures on international topics and Friday night classic films. The Library also subscribes to a growing collection of digital resources such as eBooks, audio books, periodicals, and the ability to publish original music and artwork into the Library’s digital collection.
