She was there when we needed her

We feel beyond fortunate to have found Martha. She was consistently present for us with grounded, easily digestible advice, the perfect guide for a couple of wet-behind-the-ears home seekers.

Looking at properties together, it occurred to us that it was like having the best kind of mother at our side… you know, the one who has your best interests in mind, but isn’t afraid to tell you the things you need to hear, even if you don’t want to hear it. She felt like a close friend from our first meeting, interested not only in our real estate goals, but also in our personal interests and overall life goals. She was there for us when we needed her, but graciously patient when we needed a break from the house-hunting rat race.

Friendly but direct with the sellers agents we met, Martha struck the perfect balance in researching and negotiating. And in more than a few cases, she steered us clear of properties we might’ve regretted plunging into, keeping us on the right side of the fence when our over-eagerness had us teetering into the pitfalls of a potential money-pit.

Would we refer Martha to any house-hungry folk we come across in the future? And would we look to her again, if we ever are looking again? Absolutely and absolutely.
